Luneta has been featured on Refinery29!

After more than a year of trying to contact traditional media outlets in the UK, I finally gave up in February. I thought “oh well, will try one last time, if I get no replies again I’ll stop!” - and indeed, I got not replies and stopped. To my surprise, one of the emails must have made an effect back then, because Luneta finally got some PR now in September 🌈🍾 The Groove is in the heart pendant necklace was chosen by the lovely Alicia Lansom from Refinery29 to be featured in an article about big pendant necklaces 💜

I made the Groove is in the heart necklace for our groovy drop, inspired by the 60s - as a lot of the 90s was also inspired by the 60s (as fashion is cyclical, as you might have noticed by now), I totally get how this necklace could be seen as 90s nostalgia. At least I’m glad it wasn’t seen as Y2K, as (unpopular opinion) I hate Y2K jewellery and fashion and do not understand why it had to be brought back 😅 I was born in 1992 and was a teen in the 2000s, and I didn’t like wearing low rises then and certainly do not like wearing them now. Indeed, let’s all forget Y2K 🤣

I’d also like to thank Alicia for featuring us, a micro brand who definitely can’t afford to pay affiliate links 💜 Glad to see such a big news vehicle as Refinery29 featuring small, sustainable brands! Read the full article here.
